The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is based on the Maruti Suzuki-designed HEARTECT platform that underpins the S-Presso as well. On the other hand, the Renault Kwid is made on the Renault-Nissan CMF-A+ platform that underpins other Renault cars, such as the Triber and the Kiger as well as the Nissan Magnite.   As far as the figures go, both vehicles have a 1.0-litre petrol engine only. In addition, they have also proven to offer comfort-oriented rideability thanks to their soft suspension setups.
